I need a little help with something. You know when you have a song in your head and you cant remeber the band? Well thats whats keeping me awake tonight Embarassed

(that cant be right). Anyway, I used to see this band quite often in the mid to late 80s and the song thats in my head is "strange fruit" they also had a song that had the line "come bring me the wine............."Someone help me out with this one its driving me crazy and let me get back to what I should be doing (fnar fnar)

Not sure about the lyric "come bring me the wine" but i'll find it, it's not the song "Sunshine Superman" you are thinking of is it ?

Thanks Andy, that was really bugging me. I saw them a few times but they were never really one of my favourites. Im still not sure about the lyric and google has bugger all info so no doubt thats someting else that will keep me up. Wink

Hi, the song with the lyric "come, bring me the wine" is "Thunderbird" and it's on the Salvation album - best of 85-89. Have a look on Oxfam's - Big Noise Music website where you can play/sample or buy the track,

"Thunderbird" of course it was. That was one of my fav songs and I had forgotten all about it until I saw the name. Also a very cheap and cheerful drink even if it did taste of cats pee. Youve been most helpful Andy. Thanks x Very Happy
